This movie theater is my go to place to see the latest movies. It's close and comfortable. The staff are helpful because one time I arrived early with friends so we had to wait for the previous showing to finish and the staff to cleanup but when they did, one of them let us know it was available and let us in. It's a bit small, so if there is a really popular movie that everyone is going to, I would recommend going real early before it gets packed
I've been coming here for years. It's not huge but comfortable. The stairs could use some new carpeting, it's been 10 years if not more. I never buy food so I can't speak to concession. Staff is friendly. Lobby is always clean.
Went to try to watch a movie but I️t was cancelled. Thor and Murder in the Orient Express were cancelled. All the bad movies were still showing.
After passing Bow Tie Cinemas these past 10 years whether by foot, bus, or by car I found that once I was inside of said movie theater it reminded me of other theaters within Nassau and Queens as well as Suffolk in terms of comfort and sounds. My only reason sorry I mean a few reasons for 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 stars is there is no clear sign for parking if you came by car in which you either need to be in the neighborhood or come by bus, the price of a matinee ticket on any given day, and like any and almost every other movie theater -- the annoyance of other people checking their phones. Despite all of that I enjoyed being to said movie theater and I would probably go again because of the early showings that it advertised.
There was no staff anywhere near the ticket counter when entering, and the ticket kiosks to purchase tickets were not functional. After waiting several minutes, I walked past the boundary to the concession stand where I was rung up for tickets. When entering, the room was much smaller than anticipated, which was fine except the seating arrangement was awful. There were subtitles on a film and I had to arch all the way over to look in between two heads in front of me to see. Because the screen is high up and the seats are so close, I found myself straining my neck to look up. It isn't the theaters fault, but this establishment appears to attract individuals that were either speaking around me or on their phone throughout the entire movie, creating a very unpleasant experience. Lastly, as I was leaving, I asked where the restroom was and received attitude from the concession clerk, as if he felt he has better things to do than direct me to restrooms located on a completely different floor. Will not be attending again, will not recommend.
